Interpolation categories for conformal embeddings
Abstract In this paper, we give a diagrammatic description of the categories of modules coming from the conformal embeddings V(slN,N)⊂V(soN2−1,1)$\mathcal{V}({\mathfrak{sl}}_{N},N)\subset \mathcal{V}({\mathfrak{so}}_{{N}^{2}-1},1)$. A small variant of this construction (morally corresponding to a conformal embedding of glN${\mathfrak{gl}}_{N}$ level N ...

Inducing Coverings on Hilbert Schemes
ABSTRACT We find an explicit geometric description of all coverings of Hilb2(Σ)$\operatorname{Hilb}^{2}(\Sigma)$ when Σ$\Sigma$ is a normal, complex, quasi‐projective surface with finite fundamental group. We then apply this construction to show that if Σ$\Sigma$ is an irreducible symplectic surface then Hilb2(Σ)$\operatorname{Hilb}^{2}(\Sigma)$ is an ...

Given a Galois cover of curves over F_p , we relate the p-adic valuation of epsilon constants appearing in functional equations of ArtinL-functions to an equivariant Euler characteristic.

A trace–path integral formula over function fields
Abstract We show that an arithmetic path integral over the ℓ$\ell$‐torsion of a Jacobian J[ℓ]$J[\ell]$ is equal to the trace of the Frobenius action on a representation of the Heisenberg group H(J[ℓ])$H(J[\ell])$, up to an explicitly determined sign.

Heights on ‘hybrid orbits’ in Shimura varieties
Abstract We prove the ‘hybrid conjecture’ which is a common generalisation of the André–Oort conjecture and the André–Pink–Zannier conjecture, in the case of Shimura varieties of abelian type.

An overview over the Infinite Galois Theory and Absolute Galois Groups [PDF]
openIn this thesis the generalization of classical Galois Theory to the case of infinite algebraic extensions is analyzed. The key point is the notion of Krull topology on groups, providing a Fundamental Theorem of Galois Theory for infinite extensions ...

On 7‐adic Galois representations for elliptic curves over Q$\mathbb {Q}$
Abstract In recent years, significant progress has been made on Mazur's Program B, with many authors beginning a systematic classification of all possible images of p$p$‐adic Galois representations attached to elliptic curves over Q$\mathbb {Q}$. Currently, the classification is only complete for p∈{2,3,13,17}$p \in \lbrace 2,3,13,17\rbrace$.

Topological visual localization using decentralized galois lattices [PDF]
This paper presents a new decentralized method for selecting visual landmarks in a structured environment. Different images, issued from the different places, are analyzed, and primitives are extracted to determine whether or not features are present in

The asymptotic Mahler measure of Gaussian periods
Abstract We construct a sequence of cyclotomic integers (Gaussian periods) of particularly small Mahler measure/height. We study the asymptotics of their Mahler measure as a function of their conductor, to find that the growth rate is the (multivariate) Mahler measure of a family of log Calabi–Yau varieties of increasing dimension.

Cpn$C_{p^n}$‐equivariant Mahowald invariants
Abstract The classical Mahowald invariant is an operation that systematically produces new elements in the stable homotopy groups of spheres from known ones. We introduce the Cpn$C_{p^n}$‐Mahowald invariant: a relation π★SCpn−1⇀π*S$\pi _\star S_{\mathchoice{{ C_{p^{n-1}}}}{{\textstyle C_{p^{n-1}}}}{{\scriptstyle C_{p^{n-1}}}}{{\scriptscriptstyle C_{p ...
