Issues in the Development of Location-Based Games [PDF]
As new and more powerful mobile devices arrive, such as smartphones, tablets and PDAs, so do new ways of interaction emerge for the users and developers to explore. These devices allow for the creation of never-before-seen applications, using the broad range of inputs and sensors these devices integrate (such as accelerometers, light sensors ...

Localization accuracy of 6‐second CBCT for lung IGRT with various breathing patterns
Abstract Purpose The 6‐second cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) acquisition of the Ethos HyperSight (Varian Medical Systems, Inc. Palo Alto, CA, USA) on‐board imaging system offers benefits, but could be too fast to accurately capture an average target position in a free‐breathing lung cancer patient. This study aimed to ascertain whether a 6‐second

Validity and Reliability of Clinical and Patient‐Reported Outcomes in Multisystem Proteinopathy 1
ABSTRACT Objective Valosin‐containing protein (VCP)‐associated multisystem proteinopathy 1 (MSP1) is caused by variants in the VCP gene. MSP1 results in various phenotypes including progressive myopathy, Paget's disease of bone, frontotemporal dementia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and parkinsonism, among others.

Equilibrium Locations in the Unconstrained Hotelling Game [PDF]
In this paper, we try to analyse the optimal location choice in a standard game of horizontal differentiation in which firms are free to locate outside the city boundaries. It turns out that the unique Nash equilibium exhibits a finite distance between the sellers, so that the maximum differentiation principle is not confirmed.

An Analysis for IDH‐Mutant Grade 4 Astrocytoma Based on WHO CNS 5: Implication of Clinical Practice
ABSTRACT Purpose There is ongoing debate regarding the therapeutic approach and prognosis for IDH‐mutant grade 4 astrocytoma, a newly defined subtype of diffuse glioma in the 2021 WHO classification system for central nervous system tumors (WHO CNS 5). The aim of this study was to explore the clinical outcome and prognosticators for newly diagnosed IDH‐

Serving by local consensus in the public service location game
We discuss the issue of distributed and cooperative decision-making in a network game of public service location. Each node of the network can choose to be a provider of service which is accessible to the provider itself and also to all the neighboring ...

The glomerular filtration barrier (GFB) is the first step of blood filtration by the kidneys. The concerning increase of kidney diseases makes the development of new models essential. In this context, microphysiological glomerular filtration barriers focus on closely reproducing the physiological architecture of the in vivo GFB: podocytes, glomerular ...
