Synthetic Aperture Radar Image Background Clutter Fitting Using SKS + MoM‐Based G0 Distribution

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2015, Issue 1, 2015., 2015
G0 distribution can accurately model various background clutters in the single‐look and multilook synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images and is one of the most important statistic models in the field of SAR image clutter modeling. However, the parameter estimation of G0 distribution is difficult, which greatly limits the application of the distribution.

Euler Type Integrals and Integrals in Terms of Extended Beta Function

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
We derive the evaluations of certain integrals of Euler type involving generalized hypergeometric series. Further, we establish a theorem on extended beta function, which provides evaluation of certain integrals in terms of extended beta function and certain special polynomials.

Completely monotonic ratios of basic and ordinary gamma functions

open access: yes, 2020
We investigate conditions for logarithmic complete monotonicity of product ratios of gamma and q-gamma functions whose arguments are linear functions of the variable.

Estimation and Inference for Higher‐Order Stochastic Volatility Models With Leverage

open access: yesJournal of Time Series Analysis, Volume 46, Issue 6, Page 1064-1084, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Statistical inference—estimation and testing—for stochastic volatility models is challenging and computationally expensive. This problem is compounded when leverage effects are allowed. We propose efficient, simple estimators for higher‐order stochastic volatility models with leverage [SVL(p)$$ (p) $$], based on a small number of moment ...

A Class of Logarithmically Completely Monotonic Functions and Their Applications

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
We study the recent investigations on a class of functions which are logarithmically completely monotonic. Two open problems are also presented.

Resource‐adaptive and OOD‐robust inference of deep neural networks on IoT devices

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, Volume 10, Issue 1, Page 115-133, February 2025.
Abstract Efficiently executing inference tasks of deep neural networks on devices with limited resources poses a significant load in IoT systems. To alleviate the load, one innovative method is branching that adds extra layers with classification exits to a pre‐trained model, enabling inputs with high‐confidence predictions to exit early, thus reducing

Fading Evaluation in the 60 GHz Band in Line‐of‐Sight Conditions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
An exhaustive analysis of the small‐scale fading amplitude in the 60 GHz band is addressed for line‐of‐sight conditions (LOS). From a measurement campaign carried out in a laboratory, we have estimated the distribution of the small‐scale fading amplitude over a bandwidth of 9 GHz. From the measured data, we have estimated the parameters of the Rayleigh,
