The Actin‐Binding Prolyl‐Isomerase Par17 Sustains Its Substrate Selectivity by Interdomain Allostery
ABSTRACT The human peptidyl‐prolyl‐cis/trans isomerases (PPIases), Parvulin 14 and Parvulin 17, accelerate the cis/trans isomerization of Xaa‐Pro moieties within protein sequences. By modulating the respective binding interfaces of their target proteins, they play a crucial role in determining the fate of their substrates within the cell. Although both

Microwave Power Dependence of Electric Dipole Spin Resonance
The electric dipole spin resonance mediated by spin–orbit interaction (SOI) in quantum dots is analyzed. When the SOI Hamiltonian is proportional to the cube of the momentum operator, the effective spin Hamiltonian includes a residual spin‐momentum coupling term.

Nuclear Physics in the Era of Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning
The use of QML in the realm of nuclear physics at low energy is almost nonexistent. Three examples of the use of quantum computing and quantum machine in nuclear physics are presented: the determination of the phase/shape in nuclear models, the calculation of the ground state energy, and the identification of particles in nuclear physics experiments ...

The Progenitor and Central Engine of a Peculiar GRB 230307A
Recently, a lack of supernova-associated with long-duration gamma-ray burst (GRB 230307A) at such a low redshift z = 0.065, but associated with a possible kilonova emission, has attracted great attention.
