Polymer‐based drug delivery systems can effectively overcome the limitations of free drugs in terms of solubility, stability, and plasma half‐life, yet their development has traditionally relied on time‐consuming trial‐and‐error approaches. This review highlights recent advances in applying molecular simulation to the design of polymer‐based drug ...

An Ultrapotent, Ultraeconomical, Antifreeze Polypeptide
Simple and inexpensive polypeptides composed of random copolymers of alanine and glutamic acid are effective antifreezes for applications in foods and biomedicine. The polypeptides, inspired by natural extremophile proteins, inhibit the growth of large ice crystals and prevent damage to sensitive biologics.

Visible‐Light‐Driven Hydrogen Release from Layered Hydrogen Silicane
Hydrogen molecules can be released from layered hydrogen silicane (L‐HSi) under visible light with low light intensity, such as a solar simulator or commercial light‐emitting diodes (LEDs), without any heat input. L‐HSi is expected to be applied for a safe, solid‐state, and lightweight hydrogen carrier with low energy consumption for dehydrogenation ...
