Gamma-Ray Burst Energetics [PDF]
We estimate the fraction of the total energy in a Gamma-Ray Burst (GRB) that is radiated in photons during the main burst. Random internal collisions among different shells limit the efficiency for converting bulk kinetic energy to photons. About 1% of the energy of explosion is converted to radiation, in 10-1000 kev energy band in the observer frame ...

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Investigation of the structure in 235U(nth,fis) prompt gamma energy spectrum by FIFRELIN [PDF]
The energy spectrum of prompt gamma-rays from 235U thermal fission is reproduced by a fission reaction model FIFRELIN to identify the origin of spectral features.

News from Cosmic Gamma-ray Line Observations
The measurement of gamma rays at MeV energies from cosmic radioactivities is one of the key tools for nuclear astrophysics, in its study of nuclear reactions and how they shape objects such as massive stars and supernova explosions.

This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.

Results of 15 yr Pulsar Timing of PSR J0007+7303 with Fermi-LAT
The study of pulsar glitches provides a unique window into the internal structure and dynamic processes of neutron stars. PSR J0007+7303, a very bright gamma-ray pulsar, is the first pulsar discovered by the Fermi–Large Area Telescope (LAT) telescope. In

Effect of degenerate particles on internal bremsstrahlung of Majorana dark matter
Gamma-rays induced by annihilation or decay of dark matter can be its smoking gun signature. In particular, gamma-rays generated by internal bremsstrahlung of Majorana and real scalar dark matter is promising since it can be a leading emission of sharp ...

Context. Most of the studies on extragalactic {\gamma}-ray propagation performed up to now only accounted for primary gamma-ray absorption and adiabatic losses ("absorption-only model").
