Gamma Kernels and BSS/LSS Processes
2016This paper reviews the roles of gamma type kernels in the theory and modelling for Brownian and Levy semistationary processes. Applications to financial econometrics and the physics of turbulence are pointed out.

On a New Point Kernel for Use in Gamma Radiation Calculations
Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology, 2000The present paper demonstrate the existence of a new formulation for the transport point kernel, the principal characteristic of which lies in a two-dimensional integration over the surfaces that deliminate a source.

Kernel analysis in TeV gamma-ray selection
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2000We discuss the use of kernel analysis as a technique for selecting gamma-ray candidates in Atmospheric Cherenkov astronomy. The method is applied to observations of the Crab Nebula and Markarian 501 recorded with the Whipple 10 m Atmospheric Cherenkov imaging system, and the results are compared with the standard Supercuts analysis.

Notes on the gamma kernel [PDF]
The density function of the gamma distribution is used as shift kernel in Brownian semistationary processes modelling the timewise behaviour of the velocity in turbulent regimes. This report presents exact and asymptotic properties of the second order structure function under such a model, and relates these to results of von Karmann and Horwath.

This research work was undertaken to evaluate the physicochemical parameters of oil from the cherry kernel non-irradiated and irradiated at 3 and 6 kGy of gamma irradiation for two storage periods (0 and 12 months). The acid value, peroxide value, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances value, iodine value, saponification value ...
