A State‐Adaptive Koopman Control Framework for Real‐Time Deformable Tool Manipulation in Robotic Environmental Swabbing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

Multimodal Engagement Assessment in Children During Invented Story Paradigm With a Social Robot

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A multimodal framework is proposed to assess children's engagement during storytelling interactions with a social robot. Gaze, physiological, and behavioral data are combined and validated against observer ratings. An automated gaze‐labeling strategy is introduced, and supervised classifiers achieve high accuracy. The study supports scalable engagement

On a more accurate half-discrete Hardy-Hilbert-type inequality related to the kernel of exponential function

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
By applying the weight functions, the technique of real analysis and Hermite-Hadamard’s inequality, a half-discrete Hardy-Hilbert-type inequality related to the kernel of exponential function with the best possible constant factor expressed by the gamma ...

Hierarchic Bayesian models for kernel learning [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The integration of diverse forms of informative data by learning an optimal combination of base kernels in classification or regression problems can provide enhanced performance when compared to that obtained from any single data source.

Neural Fields for Highly Accelerated 2D Cine Phase Contrast MRI

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT 2D cine phase contrast (CPC) MRI provides quantitative information on blood velocity and flow within the human vasculature. However, data acquisition is time‐consuming, motivating the reconstruction of the velocity field from undersampled measurements to reduce scan times. In this work, neural fields are proposed as a continuous spatiotemporal

Gamma-gamma collider based on Compton back-scattering [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
A {gamma}{gamma} collider would extend and complement the physics capability of a linear collider; e.g. it would be suitable for direct measurement of the partial decay width of a Higgs boson into two gamma quanta.
