GAMMA-RAY BURSTS [PDF]
Particles, Strings and Cosmology (PASCOS 99), 2000 Ultra-high-energy, >10^19 eV, cosmic-ray and high energy, ~10^14 eV, neutrino production in GRBs is discussed in the light of recent GRB and cosmic-ray observations. Emphasis is put on model predictions that can be tested with operating and planned cosmic-ray and neutrino detectors, and on the prospects of testing for neutrino properties.openaire +2 more sourcesThe origin of cosmic rays and TeV gamma-ray astronomy
EPJ Web of Conferences, 2013 Cosmic rays are accelerated to high energies in Galactic and extragalactic objects like Supernova remnants (SNR) and active galactic nuclei (AGN). Nature, 1932 IT has long been known that some of the radio-elements emit a penetrating type of X-rays known as the gamma rays. It is clear that these radiations arising from the nucleus of the radioactive atom represent in a sense some of the characteristic modes of vibration of the nuclear structure. The wave-length and quantum energy of many of the stronger lines openaire +1 more sourceSearch for Joint Multimessenger Signals from Potential Galactic Cosmic-Ray Accelerators with HAWC and IceCube

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView. The kinase SRPK1 directly interacts with the protein TOPBP1 and regulates the pre‐mRNA splicing of WIZ thereby contributing to the activation of the ATR/CHK1 replicative checkpoint in response to replicative stress. This allows cancer cells' genomic stability and survival.Amani Shreim, Aurelie Genoux, Nadiia Zubchuk, Haoyang Zheng, Perla Salameh, Theo Ziegelmeyer, Fabien Dalonneau, Margot Rouchette, Christiane Oddou, Simona Miron, Helene Polveche, Adiilah Mamode Cassim, Carmen Garrido, Eleni Nikolakaki, Didier Auboeuf, Tao Jia, Sophie Zinn‐Justin, Beatrice Eymin +17 morewiley +1 more sourceThe Gamma‐Ray Observatory [PDF]
