Small-scale Magnetic Fields Are Critical to Shaping Solar Gamma-Ray Emission
The Sun is a bright gamma-ray source due to hadronic cosmic-ray interactions with solar gas. While it is known that incoming cosmic rays must generally first be reflected by solar magnetic fields to produce outgoing gamma rays, theoretical models have ...

We report a chemically incorporated fluorinated AlPO4 (AlPO4‐F) architecture that functions as a multifunctional “interfacial fortress” for Li‐rich layered oxides (LLOs). By modulating the surface potential to –32.16 mV, this architecture enriches Li+ concentration and repels detrimental electrolyte anions.

Neutron/Gamma Mixed Spectrum Radiolysis-based Aqueous Dosimetry [PDF]
This work develops a method to use an aqueous dosimeter in a mixed radiation field to determine separate measurements of neutron and gamma dose. Based on radiolysis of both Fricke and Methyl Viologen (MV) solutions, activation analysis and reactor ...

Solution‐based ligand‐assisted epitaxial growth (LAEG) yields high‐quality CsPbBr3 microcrystals on different substrates with superior morphology, passivated surfaces, and high photoluminescence quantum yield. These robust micro‐resonators achieve record‐low room‐temperature lasing thresholds of 7.2 kW·cm−2 and maintain operational stability up to 90 ...

Gamma Rays: Technology, applications and health implications
Gamma-rays originate from the decay of excited states of the atomic nuclei in a similar manner as the visible light originates from the decay of the atom itself.

Focusing of gamma-rays with Laue lenses: first results
We report on the first results obtained from our development project of focusing gamma-rays (>60 keV) by using Laue lenses. The first lens prototype model has been assembled and tested.

Unified Pressure and Field Response Across Distinct Charge‐Order Regimes in Ti‐Doped CsV3Sb5
We microscopically investigate the interplay between charge order and superconductivity in a kagome superconductor across regimes of long‐ and short‐range charge order. Hydrostatic‐pressure and magnetic‐field μSR$\mu{\rm SR}$ measurements reveal remarkably similar superconducting and normal‐state time‐reversal‐symmetry‐breaking responses in both ...

Thermal-neutron capture gamma-rays. Volume 1
The energy and photon intensity of gamma rays as seen in thermal-neutron capture are presented in ascending order of gamma energy. All those gamma-rays with intensity of {ge} 2% of the strongest transition are included. The two strongest transitions seen
