Transcapsular Decompression of Shoulder Ganglion Cysts [PDF]

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, 2018
Paralabral cysts are an increasingly recognized cause of suprascapular nerve (SSN) impingement, often causing insidious weakness in the rotator cuff. Compression at the suprascapular notch is often due to the presence of a SLAP tear and leads to pain, weakness, and atrophy of both the supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles.

Deep-learning-based identification of odontogenic keratocysts in hematoxylin- and eosin-stained jaw cyst specimens [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
The aim of this study was to develop a digital histopathology system for identifying odontogenic keratocysts in hematoxylin- and eosin-stained tissue specimens of jaw cysts. Approximately 5000 microscopy images with 400$\times$ magnification were obtained from 199 odontogenic keratocysts, 208 dentigerous cysts, and 55 radicular cysts.

Gαq signalling from endosomes: A new conundrum

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract G‐protein‐coupled receptors (GPCRs) constitute the largest family of membrane receptors, and are involved in the transmission of a variety of extracellular stimuli such as hormones, neurotransmitters, light and odorants into intracellular responses.

Subperiosteal ganglion cyst of the tibia : a communication with the knee demonstrated by delayed arthrography [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We report a patient with a subperiosteal ganglion cyst of the tibia which was imaged by radiography, arthrography, CT and MRI. The images mere correlated with the arthroscopic surgical and histological findings.

Posterior interosseous nerve intraneural ganglion cyst from the scapholunate joint

open access: yesClinical anatomy (New York, N.Y. Print), 2018
To the editor: During the course of a routine cadaveric dissection of the wrist, an intraneural ganglion cyst was incidentally identifiedatauniquesite.Theposterior interosseousnerve (PIN) and artery were identified with loupe magnification in the floor ...

Segmentation of retinal cysts from Optical Coherence Tomography volumes via selective enhancement [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
Automated and accurate segmentation of cystoid structures in Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is of interest in the early detection of retinal diseases. It is, however, a challenging task. We propose a novel method for localizing cysts in 3D OCT volumes.

Cystic lesions of peripheral nerves: Are we missing the diagnosis of the intraneural ganglion cyst?

open access: yesWorld Journal of Radiology, 2017
AIM To highlight the salient magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features of the intraneural ganglion cyst (INGC) of various peripheral nerves for their precise diagnosis and to differentiate them from other intra and extra-neural cystic lesions.

Endoscopic Ganglionectomy of the Volar Radial Wrist Ganglion

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, 2017
Volar ganglion cyst of the wrist is a common hand problem faced by orthopaedic surgeons. Excision is indicated if it is painful. Arthroscopic ganglionectomy of the wrist ganglion has been reported with the advantage of minimally invasive surgery. Most of

Anterior Cruciate Ligament Ganglion Cyst and Mucoid Degeneration: A Review

open access: yesCureus, 2017
Mucoid degeneration and ganglion cyst are two distinct non-traumatic lesions of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) that most commonly occur discretely but occasionally coexist.
