This study presents a novel approach to identifying the spatial distribution of geological outcrops using remote sensing, with the Lufeng Dinosaur Valley in China as the focal area. We integrate GF‐5 hyperspectral imagery with the automated morphological endmember extraction–pure pixel index (AMEE–PPI) algorithm to improve endmember extraction accuracy.

Multi‐Scale Soil Salinization Dynamics From Global to Pore Scale: A Review
Abstract Soil salinization refers to the accumulation of water‐soluble salts in the upper part of the soil profile. Excessive levels of soil salinity affects crop production, soil health, and ecosystem functioning. This phenomenon threatens agriculture, food security, soil stability, and fertility leading to land degradation and loss of essential soil ...

Ship target detection in SAR images based on SimAM attention YOLOv8
1. Mitigated the uniform treatment disparity across all regions of images processed by the YOLOv8 model, and validated the effectiveness of our method through experiments. 2. The combination of a simple, parameter‐free attention module (SimAM) attention mechanism with the YOLOv8 visual model for synthetic aperture radar ship target detection ...
