Reliability Design for Gaofen-3 Satellite Phased Array Antenna
2019 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology (ICMMT), 2019The Gaofen-3 satellite is a polarimetric SAR working in C band with high SAR imaging resolution. Moreover, it is also the first C band remote sensing satellite designed up to 8 years life. The active phased antenna of the SAR is capable of scanning in two principal planes. The antenna array is composed of four panels and 24 modules totally.

High-precision DEM can be generated by SAR interferometry processing with GaoFen-3 repeat-pass data. This paper presents the first results from GaoFen-3 SAR Interferometry obtained with two interferometric SAR data pairs at the selected experiment sites. The temporal separations were 29 days.

Determining the satellite orbit vector is necessary when constructing the geometric positioning model for a Synthetic Aperture Radar image from the Gaofen-3 satellite (GF-3), as it greatly impacts the geometric positioning accuracy. Therefore, it is vital to obtain accurate orbit vector data regarding the satellite imaging time.
