The Light Hydrocarbon Characteristics of Gaoyou Sag Crude

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
Gaoyou Sag light hydrocarbon characteristics of crude oil a systematic study group and the oil is well divided. Characteristics of the light hydrocarbon ring parameters and carbon preference index in Mango revealed that depression source of crude oil, and hydrocarbon source rocks are typical lacustrine depositional environment; C6-7 light hydrocarbon ...

Sedimentary Facies of Prograded-type Fan Delta Huangjue Area, Gaoyou Sag, China

Petroleum Science and Technology, 2013
Huangjue area was very affected during the Dainan formation's sedimentation. Thanks to the Wubao movement, the faults in the south of this area are active when the level of the lake is rising. Debris from the south slope flowed into deep water and formed the prograded-type fan delta. Middle and distal zones are the main sedimentary facies.

Paleocene storm-related event beds in the Gaoyou Sag of the Subei Basin, eastern China: A new interpretation for these deep lacustrine sandstones

Marine and Petroleum Geology, 2021
Abstract Lacustrine storm deposits in hydrocarbon-rich lake basins can be excellent reservoirs; therefore, the identification and interpretation of storm deposits have great significance for future petroleum exploration. Recent progress in facies analysis helps to discriminate the sedimentary effects of combined flow and oscillatory flow in the ...

Organic geochemistry of the lacustrine shales from the Cretaceous Taizhou Formation in the Gaoyou Sag, Northern Jiangsu Basin

Marine and Petroleum Geology, 2018
Abstract The shale from the Cretaceous Taizhou Formation is an important source rock in the Gaoyou Sag, Northern Jiangsu Basin. Fifty-three shale core samples analyzed for total organic carbon (TOC) and Rock-Eval pyrolysis analyses were used to evaluate the geochemistry of this shale. Twenty-one samples of them were analyzed using solvent extraction,

Reservoir characteristics and forming controls of intrusive-metamorphic reservoir complex: A case study on the diabase-metamudstone rocks in the Gaoyou sag, eastern China

Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering, 2019
Abstract Hydrocarbon reservoirs associated with magmatic intrusion have significance in expanding hydrocarbon exploration. However, this type of reservoir is rarely documented in previous studies. Taking the diabases and their contact metamudstones from the Funing Formation, northern slope of the Gaoyou sag, as study objectives, the current work ...

Reservoir properties and controlling factors of contact metamorphic zones of the diabase in the northern slope of the Gaoyou Sag, Subei Basin, eastern China

Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering, 2016
Abstract Hydrocarbons reserved in the contact metamorphic zones of magmatic rocks are found in rift basins as a new type of unconventional resources. However, their reservoir characteristics are relatively underexplored. On the basis of core samples, thin sections, and analysis data available, this study investigates the reservoir properties of ...
