GAPP: A generative assembly process planner
Journal of Manufacturing Systems, 1996Abstract This paper presents results of exhaustive research in automated assembly planning. A generative assembly process planner (GAPP) has been developed that takes as input a solid model of the product to be assembled and outputs its feasible assembly sequences.

Closing the GAPP on predicting metastases
Nature Reviews Endocrinology, 2014A promising grading system to predict metastasis in patients with phaeochromocytoma and paraganglioma assigns risk according to selected histological and other criteria. Such risk stratification might be useful for personalized management and screening programmes, as it could limit the costs of follow-up and reduce the risk of disseminated disease.

A preliminary evaluation of a massively parallel processor: GAPP
Microprocessing and Microprogramming, 1990Abstract The Geometric Arithmetic Parallel Processor (GAPP) is a systolic planar array processor with 72 (6 × 12) processing elements arranged in a mesh network. It runs at a clock speed of 10 MHz. The greatest advantage of such a design is that as many processor chips as are needed can be implemented without the loss of processing speed as ...

A parallel implementation of the Hopfield network on GAPP processors
International Joint Conference on Neural Networks, 1989Summary form only given, as follows. A parallel hardware implementation of the popular Hopfield neural network is described. The design utilizes the geometric arithmetic parallel processor (GAPP), an SIMD machine consisting of 72 processing elements. Memory requirements and processing times are analyzed based upon the number of nodes in the network and

GaPP: Multi-Target Tracking with Gaussian Processes
Multi-target tracking of agile targets can be limited by choice of dynamical models. This is typically overcome by using sophisticated non-Gaussian and/or nonlinear motion models, and complex data association schemes. Here we aim to tackle scenarios when
