Functionalization of Polyolefins via Catalytic Nitrene Addition

We introduce the strategy of metal‐catalyzed nitrene transfer for the formation of carbon–nitrogen bonds onto polybutadienes as polyolefin models. This post‐functionalization methodology is not only efficient but also provides the control of the degree of functionalization. The latter nicely correlates with polymer properties such as the Tg.
