Prussian Blue Analog as a Functional Additive for Restoring Sulfide Solid Electrolytes: Enhancing Moisture Stability in All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work unveils the multifunctional roles of Prussian blue analogs (PBAs) within the LPSCl matrix, where they act as effective moisture scavengers and enable partial recovery of electrochemical performance. In addition, owing to their relatively soft nature, PBAs help mitigate interfacial stress and thereby enhance electrochemical stability and ...

Investigating the Effects of Atomic Oxygen Cold Plasma Surface Cleaning on the Oil Paint

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study investigates a novel cleaning technique based on the use of atomic oxygen (AO) generated in atmospheric pressure plasma, with the focus on the systematic investigation of the impact of AO on sensitive organic substrates during the cleaning action, to explore the applicability and limitations of the technique.

Sediment‐Resistant Marine Antifouling Coating Based on Amphiphilic Copolymer Brushes Bearing Sulfobetaine and Isobornyl Pendants

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Amphiphilic copolymer coatings comprising sulfobetaine methacrylate (SBMA) and isobornyl methacrylate (IBMA) are reported, synthesized via SI‐ATRP, that resist biological fouling and sediment accumulation. The copolymer coating with an SBMA:IBMA feed molar ratio of 1:1 is optimal for reducing diatom adhesion and sediment adsorption.

Manipulating the Chiral Self‐Assembly of Achiral Porphyrin Molecules with Carbon Nanotubes as Templates

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A chiral self‐assembly of achiral porphyrin molecules is presented on the surfaces of achiral carbon nanotubes, and the obvious optical activity is observed as direct and solid spectroscopic evidence. The findings provide an effective carbon nanotube‐templated strategy for inducing and manipulating the chiral self‐assembly of porphyrin and other chiral/
