The Fabrication of Superhydrophobic Coatings Using Food‐Grade Wax Dispersions

Advanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A method is presented for creating superhydrophobic materials using a simple mixture of food‐grade wax and solvent. By varying the solubility and dispersibility of the wax as the solvent is replaced, superhydrophobic coatings can be achieved on different substrates using spray coating.

Smart Fluorosurfactant‐Assisted Microfluidics Powered On‐Demand Generation and Retrieval of Cell‐Laden Microgels

A novel class of thermo‐responsive surfactants is developed for stabilizing and on‐demand demulsifying water‐in‐oil droplets in microfluidic systems. These surfactants enable temperature‐triggered recovery of cell‐laden hydrogel microgels without chemical demulsifiers. The approach offers a biocompatible and scalable solution for applications in tissue

Biocompatible Porphyrin Derivatives Electron Beam and Extreme Ultraviolet Photoresists: High Resolution and High Etch Resistance

Porphyrin derivatives are introduced for electron beams and extreme ultraviolet lithography. The lithographic performance of the novel CuTP‐4Epoxy photoresist is excellent, with a resolution of 18 nm in EBL and 20 nm in EUVL, and the photoresist also exhibits high etch resistance.
