Target of the presented work is to determine absolute values of GDL parameters with high accuracy, analysing and avoiding error sources caused by both test equipment and measurement methodology to the highest possible extent. The focus is on electrical, thermal and gas transport. Error sources are examined and identified.

At electrical TP-resistance measurements of PEMFC GDLs often the separation of bulk and contact resistance is of interest. There are two possibilities for this task: 2-pole measurement with stacking of GDLs and 4-pole measurement with two non current conductive poles for pure voltage measurement.
