Fractal Anatomy of Human Organs: A Narrative Review of Structure, Function, and Clinical Perspectives

open access: yesClinical Anatomy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Fractal geometry describes complex, self‐similar patterns that repeat across spatial scales and is increasingly recognized as relevant in anatomical research. Indeed, the fractal organization is consistently observed in respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, nervous, renal, hepatic, and dermatological systems.

Direct Growth of Leopard‐Patterned Graphene on Zinc Anodes via Sonochemistry for High‐Performance Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
We propose a novel bottom‐up synthesis method for 2D nanocarbon films using a sonochemical deposition process at room temperature and under atmospheric pressure. This process uniformly coats a Zn foil with unique 2D nanocarbon films, termed Leopard‐patterned graphene (Leo‐G).

In Situ Observation of Polyoxometalate Formation by Vibrational Spectroscopy

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
In‐situ IR and Raman spectroscopy were employed to observe the formation of polyoxometalates (POMs) in aqueous solution. Thereby key intermediates were identified, and better understanding of POM formation enabled the development of an improved method for the synthesis of vanadium‐substituted phosphomolybdates, which are important catalysts for ...

Integrated and closed‐loop biorefinery strategies for efficient waste valorization and biofuel production

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract Advancements in biofuel production technologies are essential for reducing global dependence on fossil fuels and addressing their overexploitation. Many valuable components of biomass, such as cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin, remain underused in traditional biorefineries, which typically rely on a single feedstock to produce a primary ...
