The ICOS OTC pCO2 instrument intercomparison

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography: Methods, EarlyView.
Abstract In 2021, the Ocean Thematic Centre of the European Research Infrastructure “Integrated Carbon Observation System” conducted an international partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) instrument intercomparison. The goal was to understand how different types of instrumentation for the measurement of ocean pCO2 compare to each other.

Mapping protein–protein interactions by mass spectrometry

open access: yesMass Spectrometry Reviews, EarlyView.
Abstract Protein–protein interactions (PPIs) are essential for numerous biological activities, including signal transduction, transcription control, and metabolism. They play a pivotal role in the organization and function of the proteome, and their perturbation is associated with various diseases, such as cancer, neurodegeneration, and infectious ...

Role of the Oxidation State in Cobalt Chemical Mechanical Planarization

open access: yesMetalMat, EarlyView.
Control over the reduction potential and diffusion behavior of the oxidizer allows precise modulation of cobalt surface oxidation, leading to the formation of a thin amorphous cobalt (II) oxide layer. This oxide layer improves removal rate and surface planarity in cobalt chemical mechanical planarization compared to thick crystalline cobalt (II and III)

Engineering the Diameter of Sn Nanowhiskers Derived From MAX Phases via Liquid Media

open access: yesMetalMat, EarlyView.
A novel liquid medium approach achieves fine tin whisker formation via mechanochemical decomposition of MAX, where active Sn atoms nucleate and the medium limits their coalescence. ABSTRACT Metal nanowires, as representative one‐dimensional (1D) materials, have found widespread applications in electrocatalysis, energy storage, and flexible electronics.
