Technical aspects of gas hydrate conversion and secondary gas hydrate formation during injection of supercritical CO2 into CH4-hydrate-bearing sediments [PDF]
The injection of CO2 into CH4-hydrate-bearing sediments has the potential to drive natural gas production and simultaneously sequester CO2 by hydrate conversion.

Challenges with gas hydrate formation
Abstract Many multiphase flow lines are prone to hydrate formation unless prevention methods are put in place. Chemical management of hydrate formation is traditionally done with thermodynamic hydrate inhibitors but in the last 25 years low dosage hydrate inhibitors (LDHIs) have been developed which can offer economic, environmental and ...

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Eutectozymes as Soft Hybrid Materials for Advanced Biocatalysis
Eutectozymes are sustainable hybrid materials that embed a GOx–HRP cascade within hydrophobic eutectogels featuring a dual supramolecular–covalent network. This architecture preserves native enzyme structure and stability, enables efficient heterogeneous biocatalysis in aqueous media, and positions eutectogels as robust platforms for next‐generation ...

Structural water is harnessed as an active co‐monomer to drive supramolecular polymerization in bulk water. Zinc(II) Salphen complexes confine water molecules to form hollow, metal–organic nanofibers that assemble into adaptive hydrogels with thermoresponsive mechanics and selective chiral recognition.

Gas hydrate accumulations at the Alaska North Sloge: total assessment based on 3D petroleum system modeling [PDF]
The Alaska North Slope comprises an area of about 400,000 km2 including prominent gas and oil fields. Gas hydrates occur widely at the Alaska North Slope.

Assembling a True “Olympic Gel” From over 16 000 Combinatorial DNA Rings
Olympic gels are an elusive class of soft matter, consisting of molecular networks held together purely by mechanically interlocked rings. Their topological structure promises unique properties and functions, but their synthesis has proven notoriously difficult.
