Calculation Method of Gas Injection Volume of Gas Storage Based on DTS Data

open access: yesCejing jishu
At present, the monitoring method of gas injection volume in gas storage is measured by ultrasonic flowmeter. There is a big deviation between the measurement quantity of gas injection main station and the sum of gas injection quantity of many wells ...

Numerical Simulation of Critical Production Pressure Drop of Injection and Production Wells in Gas Storage Based on Gas-Solid Coupling

open access: yesSeparations, 2022
The periodic injection-production process of natural gas in underground gas storage make the rock bear alternating load under the gas-solid coupling. The alternating load changes the physical properties of rock, and then influence the critical production

Performance Analysis of Abradable Coating Systems for Aircraft Gas Turbines

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Three CoNiCrAlY/YSZ/MgAl2O4 abradable liner configurations on a nickel‐superalloy are evaluated by thermal‐gradient cycling and incursion tests. Laser ablation of the bondcoat and/or Y2O3‐stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) intermediate layer increases mechanical interlocking and bonding for thick topcoats.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Workflow for Design of Experiments‐Based Modeling of Species Transport and Growth Kinetics in GaN Hydride Vapor Phase Epitaxy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

Experimental investigation on precipitation damage during water alternating flue gas injection

open access: yes, 2020
Water Alternating Gas (WAG) approach can improve the efficiency of gas flooding. However, the precipitation damage that is induced by the gas injection may be inevitable. The precipitation pressure point test of gas injection, and the WAG parallel double-
