Improving the dispersion of nano‐aluminum is of great importance in explosives and propellants. The spherical Al/HMX/CuO energetic micro‐units were prepared using microchannel technology, which significantly improved the uniformity and dispersion of nano‐Al. It also enhanced the mass and heat transfer efficiency between the fuel and oxidizer components,

Abstract BACKGROUND Chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons such as trichloroethylene (TCE) are persistent groundwater contaminants due to improper disposal and low biodegradability. This work presents an innovative bioelectrochemical system for the integrated reductive/oxidative removal of TCE from contaminated water, implemented in a single tubular ...

An Improved Air Film Model for Studying the Tilt Characteristics of Aerostatic Thrust Bearings
ABSTRACT In this study, an improved mass‐spring model that treats the lubricating air film as distributed springs is proposed to calculate the static and dynamic angular stiffness of aerostatic thrust bearings. The proposed model refines the traditional mass‐spring model by introducing the spatially varying mechanical properties of the air film and the
