Research progress on the poisoning mechanism of flue gas VOCs purification catalysts
In the industrial environment, the composition of flue gas is complex, and impurities in flue gas can lead to catalyst poisoning and deactivation, which severely restricts their application in practice.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

Hydrocarbon membranes are a greener alternative to PFSA in PEM fuel cells, but degrade rapidly from radical attack. We present a novel strategy using poly(vinylphosphonic acid) (PVPA) as a local radical scavenger. Incorporated as an interfacial barrier, PVPA enhances chemical stability and significantly extends membrane lifetime under accelerated ...

Catalytic purification of nitrogen oxides for complex industrial flue gas
Nitrogen oxides, as one of the main atmospheric pollutants, cause potential risks to human health and the atmospheric environment. In recent years, nitrogen oxide emissions from power plants have been reduced, and controlling nitrogen oxide pollution in ...

Nano‐ and Micro‐Sized Solid Materials Used as Antiviral Agents
Due to the rise of viral infections in humans and possible viral outbreaks, the use of nano‐ or micro‐sized materials as antiviral agents is rapidly increasing. This review explores their antiviral properties against RNA and DNA viruses, either as a prevention or a treatment tool, by delving into their mechanisms of action and how to properly assess ...

Secondary organizing pneumonia following occupational acute nitrogen oxide poisoning: a case report
Secondary organizing pneumonia (SOP) is a nonspecific inflammatory response towards acute lung injuries caused by various diseases. However, organizing pneumonia (OP) secondary to occupational acute nitrogen oxide poisoning has been reported rarely.

Ru single atoms and RuP nanoclusters are co‐anchored in N, P, and B co‐doped porous carbon nanospheres via in situ carbonization/phosphidation of a boronate polymer precursor. RuP activates water, while nearby Ru single atoms accelerate H2 formation through H* transfer. The catalyst delivers low overpotential and high durability in alkaline HER and AEM
