Noise Spectroscopy of Gas Sensors
IEEE Sensors Journal, 2008We study current-voltages and low-frequency noise characteristics of the metal-porous silicon-silicon single crystal-metal structure with 50% and 73% porosity of porous silicon. The study is performed in dry air and in a mix of dry air with carbon monoxide of different concentrations.

Diamond microelectronic gas sensors
Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, 1996Diamond-based microelectronic gas sensors using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) technology have been explored in our laboratory. This paper presents a now gas sensor using Pd/i-diamond/p-diamond structure for hydrogen detection. Hydrogen sensitivity of the device has been characterized and analyzed as a function of hydrogen partial ...

Fire Prevention in Gas Stove with Gas Sensors
2013This paper presents to use gas sensors to implement a safer home from a fire caused by the gas stove. Nowadays, the ratio of the families that consist of one person or old people only is increasing and thus the probability of the fire caused by forgetting turning off the gas stove is also increasing. In order to prevent this kind of fire, the presented

Miniaturization of a biomedical gas sensor
Physiological Measurement, 2004In a previous study, we concluded that a conductivity based PCO2 sensor is an attractive solution for early detection of ischemia and presented two design geometries. For organ surface measurements, the planar design was suitable but it was difficult to insert the sensor into the tissue.

The use of ion conductor using a sensor chip mounted in an exhaust gas channel. The sensor chip is exposed to 500 degree Celsius hot exhaust gas. The sensor chip is heated by a heating resistor. Electrodes of the ion conductor together with a set of covers are producible on a plate, which is isolated after the production of the electrodes.
