Baseline automotive gas turbine engine development program [PDF]
Tests results on a baseline engine are presented to document the automotive gas turbine state-of-the-art at the start of the program. The performance characteristics of the engine and of a vehicle powered by this engine are defined. Component improvement

A deep reinforcement learning–based control architecture is proposed to coordinate heat pumps, thermal storage, renewable energy, and demand response in data center waste heat recovery systems. The agent learns optimal control actions from system states and reward feedback to achieve electrical–thermal co‐optimization under realistic operational ...

Small gas turbine engine technology [PDF]
Performance of small gas turbine engines in the 250 to 1,000 horsepower size range is significantly lower than that of large engines. Engines of this size are typically used in rotorcraft, commutercraft, general aviation, and cruise missile applications.

Accommodating repair actions into gas turbine prognostics [PDF]
Elements of gas turbine degradation, such as compressor fouling, are recoverable through maintenance actions like compressor washing. These actions increase the usable engine life and optimise the performance of the gas turbine.

Robust Control Using a Matrix Converter to Enhance Wind Turbine Systems
This study uses a more efficient and effective solution to improve the operational performance of a wind turbine‐based power system. This system uses a doubly fed induction generator and relies on a matrix converter and fractional‐order proportional–integral controller.
