Intelligent Control Framework of District Heating Systems Considering Waste Heat Utilization in Data Centers

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
A deep reinforcement learning–based control architecture is proposed to coordinate heat pumps, thermal storage, renewable energy, and demand response in data center waste heat recovery systems. The agent learns optimal control actions from system states and reward feedback to achieve electrical–thermal co‐optimization under realistic operational ...

Gas Turbine Installation and Foundation Repair With Epoxy Resins [PDF]

open access: yesVolume 3: Coal, Biomass and Alternative Fuels; Combustion and Fuels; Oil and Gas Applications; Cycle Innovations, 1983
Epoxy resins are not just replacements for concrete and cement grouts, they offer the opportunity for completely new foundation/gas turbine interface designs. As a substitute for steel chocks, epoxy resin ones give perfect fit, high holding force and good thermal insulation, while eliminating the need for soleplates or rails.

Energy Accumulating Material Application as an Alternate Fuel for Gas-turbine Installations

open access: yesIzvestiya MGTU MAMI, 2008
This article deals with the possibility of energy accumulative matters (EAM) usage as an alternative fuel for gas-turbine engines and plants. Ternary alloys of Si, Al and Fe are examined as industrial EAM. Combustion heat and adiabatic temperatures of EAM burning are estimated in superheated steam at variable oxidizer ratios.
