Coordinated Optimal Dispatch of Distribution Grids and P2P Energy Trading Markets

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This study proposes a bi‐level optimization framework for distribution networks integrating P2P energy trading and shared storage. The upper level minimizes DSO costs (network losses, storage management) with voltage stability constraints, while the lower level optimizes prosumer profits via adaptive load/storage adjustments.

Techno‐Economic Comparison of Battery–Flywheel With Battery–Hydrogen Storage System in the Vicinity of Off‐Grid HRES for Four Climates: MCDM Method

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Ensuring sustainable power and heating in remote rural areas presents a considerable challenge. Renewable hybrid systems are typically recommended for this purpose; however, maintaining stability necessitates either a connection to the grid requiring electricity purchases from power plants, which are significant sources of pollution, or the ...

Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Gas Turbine Rotor for Early Fault Detection

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Steps for Rotordynamic Analysis of Gas Turbine ABSTRACT Rotodynamic analysis is a key analysis for turbomachinery for investigating the health and integrity of equipment. Most of the analyses are performed at the design stage, while the actual machine behavior is different due to imperfections like unbalance, misalignment, cracks, and so forth. In this

Seismic response of floating wind turbines due to seaquakes

open access: yesWind Energy, Volume 26, Issue 2, Page 145-162, February 2023., 2023
Abstract Vertical seismic waves, which are primarily due to pressure waves in the ground, can propagate with the same intensity in the seawater and impact floating bodies such as floating wind turbines (FWTs). Part of this wave can further propagate in the tower and generate large vertical accelerations in the nacelle. This paper presents a methodology
