Relativistic Quantum Thermodynamics of Ideal Gases in 2 Dimensions
In this work we study the behavior of relativistic ideal Bose and Fermi gases in two space dimensions. Making use of polylogarithm functions we derive a closed and unified expression for their densities.

Synthetic Lorentz force in classical atomic gases via Doppler effect and radiation pressure [PDF]
We theoretically predict a novel type of synthetic Lorentz force for classical (cold) atomic gases, which is based on the Doppler effect and radiation pressure.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Phased injection of natural gas into internal combustion marine engines is a promising solution for optimizing performance and reducing harmful emissions, particularly unburned methane, a potent greenhouse gas.

We study the properties of strongly interacting Bose gases at the density and temperature regime when the three-body recombination rate is substantially reduced. In this regime, one can have a Bose gas with all particles in scattering states (i.e.

Mutual Dependence between Sustainable Energy- and Sustainable Agriculture Policies-from the Global and European Perspective [PDF]
Agriculture is one of the economic sectors to which the EU commitment to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases applies. Like any other economic sector, agriculture produces greenhouse gases and is a major source of the non- CO2 greenhouse gases methane ...

The inhibition of mitochondrial dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) impairs syncytialization and induces cellular senescence via mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum stress in human trophoblast stem cells, elevating sFlt1/PlGF levels, a hallmark of placental dysfunction in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

Minimizing carbon dioxide emissions is crucial due to the generation of energy from fossil fuels. The significance of carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology, which is highly successful in mitigating carbon emissions, has increased. On the other hand,

We consider one component lattice gases with a local dynamics and a stationary product Bernoulli measure. We give upper and lower bounds on the diffusivity at an equilibrium point depending on the dimension and the local behavior of the macroscopic flux ...

Adiabatic Heating of Contracting Turbulent Fluids [PDF]
Turbulence influences the behavior of many astrophysical systems, frequently by providing non-thermal pressure support through random bulk motions.
