Methanol to Gasoline Conversion over CuO/ZSM-5 Catalyst Synthesized Using Sonochemistry Method

International journal of Chemical Reactor Engineering, 2018
In this research, the catalytic conversion of methanol to gasoline range hydrocarbons has been studied over CuO (5 %)/ZSM-5 and CuO (7 %)/ZSM-5 catalysts prepared via sonochemistry methods. Conversion of methanol to gasoline (MTG) has been carried out in

Gasoline contact burns

Journal of the American College of Emergency Physicians, 1978
In the past four years, four cases of gasoline contact burns have been treated at the Detroit General Hospital Emergency Department. Signs are erythema and blister formation within 24 hours. Treatment is removal of contaminated clothing and washing the surface with soap and water plus open exposure of the wounds.

Catalytic oxidative desulphurization of gasoline using amphiphilic polyoxometalate@polymer nanocomposite as an efficient, reusable, and green organic–inorganic hybrid catalyst

Environmental technology, 2018
To preparation of ultra-clean gasoline fuel, a new amphiphilic nanocomposite (TBA-SiWMn@PVA) has been successfully synthesized by supporting sandwich-type silicotungstate polyoxometalate ((n-C4H9)4N)7H5Si2W18Mn4O68 (TBA-SiWMn) on polyvinylalcohol (PVA ...

Biofiltration of gasoline and ethanol-amended gasoline vapors

Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part A, 2012
Assuming the projected increase in use of ethanol as a biofuel, the current study was conducted to compare the biofiltration efficiencies for plain and 25% ethanol-containing gasoline. Two biofilters were operated in a downflow mode for 7 months, one of them being compost-based whereas the other using a synthetic packing material, granulated tire ...

Gasoline

1940
The primary tests that are applied to gasoline are intended to measure the following qualities: volatility, knock characteristics, tetraethyl lead content, gum content, and sulfur content. The tests relating to these qualities are discussed below in the order named.

Motor Gasoline Toxicity

Toxicological Sciences, 1988
The toxicology of motor gasoline is reviewed and the subject considered in two ways. First is as a problem involving a widely used commodity material and the second as a model for the study of complex mixtures. Previously reported subchronic and chronic inhalation studies showing primarily nephrotoxicity in male rats are summarized.
