Quantile Based Weighted Shrinkage Estimators in Ridge Regression Model

Multicollinearity and high noise reduce the efficiency of classical ridge parameter estimators. We propose six quantile‐based weighted shrinkage estimators (QTN0.10–QTN0.99) under a generalized ridge framework. ABSTRACT Ridge regression with shrinkage parameter “k” is used to cope with the multicollinearity among predictors.
