Studies in the Gasteromycetes VI
Mycologia, 1942This paper discusses the taxonomic position of Schizostoma, gives an emended description of genus and species and records new data on their distribution. Sclerotia of the Gasteromycete Pisolithus tinctorius
Canadian Journal of Microbiology, 1980Hyphal masses, morphologically identified as the sclerotia of Pisolithus tinctorius, were found associated with root systems of containerized pine seedlings inoculated with this mycorrhizal fungus. A New Gymnocarpous Heterobasidiomycete with Gasteromycetous Basidia
Mycologia, 1947The hitherto unknown fungus here described grows as a parasite on the hymenium of a minute, inoperculate discomycete superficially resembling the genus Mollisia. The host ascocarp, scarcely exceeding half a millimeter in diameter, is barely discernible; the parasite, occurring on only occasional apothecia, is nearly imperceptible to the naked eye, can ...

Some Gasteromycetes from North East Greenland
Kew Bulletin, 1977A very short stay, from 12-16 July 1975, at Mestersvig on Kong Oscars Fjord, North East Greenland (720 15' N., 24o W.) gave me the opportunity to make some mycological observations, centering mostly on the gasteromycetes. I visited some localities to the north of Mestersvig (Noret, Nyhavn, Lemming Bugt), and the Store Blydal Valley.

Ectomycorrhizae in the Agaricales and Gasteromycetes
Canadian Journal of Botany, 1983Over the past decade much progress has been made in an effort to determine which fungi are mycorrhizal symbionts. It is now apparent that one ectomycorrhizal or ectendomycorrhizal host is often able to form mycorrhizae with a wide variety of higher fungi.
