Degradation Mechanisms, Encapsulation‐Based Stabilization, and Analytical Detection of Vitamin A
ABSTRACT Vitamin A is an important lipid‐soluble micronutrient essential for vision, immune function, and overall growth and development. However, vitamin A is unstable and susceptible to environmental factors because of its conjugated structure and inherent chemical reactivity.

Abstract Dental microwear texture analysis (DMTA) has emerged as a valuable method for investigating the feeding ecology of vertebrates. Over the past decade, three‐dimensional topographic data from microscopic regions of tooth surfaces have been collected, and surface texture parameters have been published for both extant and fossil species.

Faster gastric emptying of a liquid meal in rats after hypothalamic dorsomedial nucleus lesion
The effects of dorsomedial hypothalamic (DMH) nucleus lesion on body weight, plasma glucose levels, and the gastric emptying of a liquid meal were investigated in male Wistar rats (170-250 g). DMH lesions were produced stereotaxically by delivering a 2.0-

Investigating the Heat Stability and Inactivation Conditions of Decapod Iridescent Virus 1 (DIV1)
Heat treatment effectively inactivates decapod iridescent virus 1 (DIV1) under milder conditions than current WOAH recommendations. DIV1 infectivity was eliminated at 56°C for 30 min, 60°C for 15 min, or 70°C for 1 min, providing optimized heat treatment strategies for aquaculture biosecurity and seafood safety.

Dietary fiber (DF) modulates meat quality through the gut‐muscle axis by reshaping gut microbiota, improving intestinal integrity, reducing inflammation, and regulating muscle metabolism. These mechanisms influence muscle fiber characteristics and post‐mortem biochemistry, thereby enhancing tenderness, juiciness, color, flavor, and nutritional value of

SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP‐1 receptor agonists modestly lower blood pressure across diverse patient populations, including those without diabetes. These effects appear largely independent of glycaemic control and offer additive value in high‐risk patients with overlapping comorbidities.

Abstract Aims This work assessed the pharmacokinetics (PK), safety and tolerability of glasmacinal (EP395, an oral anti‐inflammatory macrolide with negligible antimicrobial activity in development for COPD treatment) in two healthy participant trials: ‘first‐in‐human’ (FIH) and ‘drug–drug‐interaction’ (DDI).

Gastric emptying in diabetes: an overview
Copyright © 2007 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.Gastric emptying is delayed in 30%-50% of patients with longstanding diabetes mellitus. The prevalence of disordered gastric emptying in patients with "early" Type 2 diabetes is controversial, but it has
