Response of Rats with Gastric Fistulas to Injection of Gastrin.
SummaryGastrin prepared from the stomach of hogs stimulated secretion of acid when injected subcutaneously into rats with gastric fistulas. The highest rate of secretion attained with gastrin was more than double the maximal rate in response to histamine.
