Two new compounds isolated from the aerial parts of gastrodia elata blume

Natural Product Research
Two new aromatic compounds, namely gastupdin A (1), and gastupdin B (2), together with three known compounds, arundin(3), phomosines B (4) and monocillin IV (5), were isolated from the aerial parts of Gastrodia elata Blume. The structures of the new compounds were confirmed through spectral analyses including NMR, HR-ESI-MS, ECD, UV, and IR.
