Advanced Oral Delivery Systems for Nutraceuticals
Emerging delivery technologies are explored to overcome barriers to oral nutraceutical absorption. Traditional carriers are compared with novel platforms including biodegradable polymers, MOFs, MPNs, and 3D printing. These systems enhance bioavailability, control release, and enable personalized nutrition.

Permeation Enhancer‐based Ionogel Shows Remarkable Potential for Oral Insulin Delivery
This study proposes a novel formulation of decanoate in an ionic liquid inspired drug delivery system. The formulation demonstrates ideal physicochemical and material properties for oral peptide delivery. Findings indicate that choline decanoate (1:2 molar ratio) forms a viscoelastic gel that enables high oral bioavailability of insulin in rats ...

Early inflammatory damage to intestinal neurons occurs via inducible nitric oxide synthase
Intestinal inflammation affects the enteric nervous system (ENS) that lies adjacent to the smooth muscle layers. Previously, we showed that the loss of ENS neurons in animal models such as tri-nitrobenzene sulphonic acid (TNBS)-induced colitis was a ...
