Multipath Detection from GNSS Observables Using Gated Recurrent Unit

open access: yes2022 IEEE/AIAA 41st Digital Avionics Systems Conference (DASC), 2022
One of the most used Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) technology of the 21st century is Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). GNSS signals are affected by urban canyons that limit Line-Of-Sight (LOS) and increase position ambiguity. Smart cities are expected to adopt autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) operations for critical missions

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Orthogonal Gated Recurrent Unit With Neumann-Cayley Transformation

open access: yesNeural Computation
Abstract In recent years, using orthogonal matrices has been shown to be a promising approach to improving recurrent neural networks (RNNs) with training, stability, and convergence, particularly to control gradients. While gated recurrent unit (GRU) and long short-term memory (LSTM) architectures address the vanishing gradient problem ...
