Weyl symmetry inspired inflation and dark matter

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
Motivated by the Weyl scaling gauge symmetry, we present a theoretical framework to explain cosmic inflation and dark matter simultaneously. This symmetry has been resurrected in recent attempts to formulate the gauge theory of gravity.

Anomalous gauge-boson couplings and the Higgs-boson mass

open access: yes, 2004
We study anomalous gauge-boson couplings induced by a locally SU(2) x U(1) invariant effective Lagrangian containing ten operators of dimension six built from the boson fields of the Standard Model (SM) before spontaneous symmetry breaking (SSB).

Gauge invariant variables and the Yang-Mills-Chern-Simons theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
A Hamiltonian analysis of Yang-Mills (YM) theory in (2+1) dimensions with a level $k$ Chern-Simons term is carried out using a gauge invariant matrix parametrization of the potentials.

Matrix‐Isolation Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Studies of Radical Ions and Neutral Radicals Generated by Radiolysis of Organic Molecules at Cryogenic Temperatures

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, EarlyView.
By selecting an appropriate matrix and irradiating the matrix containing a trace amount of solute at low temperatures, ionic or neutral radicals derived from the solute can be generated and trapped in the matrix. EPR spectroscopy of these samples yields highly detailed information on the radicals, inaccessible by other experimental techniques. Electron

Disproportional ventilatory response to incremental exercise in individuals with cerebral palsy

open access: yesDevelopmental Medicine &Child Neurology, EarlyView.
Individuals with cerebral palsy demonstrate a disproportionate ventilatory response during incremental exercise. Compared with typically developing peers, respiratory frequency increases earlier and at comparable exercise intensities, contributing to higher perceived exertion and reduced ventilatory efficiency. At task failure, respiratory frequency is

Gauge boson/Higgs boson unification: The Higgs bosons as superpartners of massive gauge bosons

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1984
Abstract We show how one can use massive gauge superfields to describe, simultaneously, gauge bosons (W±, Z,…) and Higgs bosons (w±,z,…) together with their spin - 1 2 partners (pairs of winos, zinos,…), despite their different electroweak properties.

4D Topological Mass by Gauging Spin

open access: yes, 2015
We propose a spin gauge field theory in which the curl of a Dirac fermion current density plays the role of the pseudovector charge density. In this field-theoretic model, spin interactions are mediated by a single scalar gauge boson in its antisymmetric

Infrared Saturation and Phases of Gauge Theories with BRST Symmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We investigate the infrared limit of the quantum equation of motion of the gauge boson propagator in various gauges and models with a BRST symmetry. We find that the saturation of this equation at low momenta distinguishes between the Coulomb, Higgs and ...

The Primacy of Processes and the Causes of the Russo‐Ukrainian War: A Rejoinder to ‘Patrimonial Imperialism’

open access: yesJournal for the Theory of Social Behaviour, Volume 56, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Pierzynski and Joseph explain the Russo‐Ukrainian war through systemic and individual‐level accounts but argue these are incomplete without addressing Russia's internal structure, which they term ‘patrimonial imperialism’. While their taxonomy mirrors the traditional IR ‘levels of analysis’, I suggest it obscures relational and historical ...

Vector boson dark matter from trinification

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We show how trinification models based on the gauge group SU(3) C × SU(3) L × SU(3) R realized near the TeV scale can provide naturally a variety of dark matter (DM) candidates.
