Gauge invariant perturbation theory via homotopy transfer
We show that the perturbative expansion of general gauge theories can be expressed in terms of gauge invariant variables to all orders in perturbations. In this we generalize techniques developed in gauge invariant cosmological perturbation theory, using

Semiclassical gauge theories [PDF]
We study the properties of a non-abelian gauge theory subjected to a gauge invariant constraint given by the classical equations of motion. The constraint is not imposed by hand, but appears naturally when we study a particular type of local gauge transformations. In this way, all standard techniques to treat gauge theories are available.

We examine some issues that arise in the q deformation of a gauge theory. If the deformation is carried out by replacing the equal time commutators of free fields with the corresponding q commutators, the resulting propagators are not very much different from those of the undeformed theory as long as one is dealing with weak fields; but the theory ...

The lowest Landau level in QCD
The thermodynamics of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) in external (electro-)magnetic fields shows some unexpected features like inverse magnetic catalysis, which have been revealed mainly through lattice studies.

6d/5d exceptional gauge theories from web diagrams
We construct novel web diagrams with a trivalent or quadrivalent gluing for various 6d/5d theories from certain Higgsings of 6d conformal matter theories on a circle.

Breaking of Gauge Symmetry in Lattice Gauge Theories [PDF]
We study perturbations that break gauge symmetries in lattice gauge theories. As a paradigmatic model, we consider the three-dimensional Abelian-Higgs (AH) model with an N-component scalar field and a noncompact gauge field, which is invariant under U(1) gauge and SU(N) transformations.

Symmetry Transformation Parameters as Classical Dynamic Variables in the Gauge Theory
A modification of the gauge theory is proposed, in which the set of generalized coordinates is supplemented with symmetry transformation parameters, and the condition is additionally imposed on the latter, which ensures the classical character of their ...

Affine Connection Representation of Gauge Fields
There are two ways to unify gravitational field and gauge field. One is to represent gravitational field as principal bundle connection, and the other is to represent gauge field as affine connection.

Canonical Gauges in Higher Gauge Theory [PDF]
We study the problem of finding good gauges for connections in higher gauge theories. We find that, for $2$-connections in strict $2$-gauge theory and $3$-connections in $3$-gauge theory, there are local "Coulomb gauges" that are more canonical than in classical gauge theory.
