This paper gives asymptotic lower bounds for the performance of Gaussian elimination and the Gauss-Jordan algorithm on scalable distributed-memory parallel architectures. Asymptotic refers to the large size of the linear system being solved. Such bounds are given when the matrix is partitioned in square blocks or when it is column-partitioned.

MODELING OF GAUSS ELIMINATION METHOD FOR NON-LINEAR PROGRAMMING PROBLEM
The Gauss Elimination Method is a classical numerical technique widely used for solving systems of linear equations. However, its application in the context of non-linear programming problems (NLPs) presents both opportunities challenges for and methodological innovation.Sanjay Jain, Adarsh Mangal

Belief propagation (BP) algorithm has been widely used for decoding LT codes. It is well known that the premature termination of the BP decoding due to the lack of degree one symbols in the ripple impairs the decoding performance of the code. This problem has been well studied and tackled for binary erasure channel (BEC).

Conditionality of the intermediate matrices of the Gauss, Jordan and optimal elimination methods
USSR Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, 1978Abstract LET A be diagonally dominant, totally non-negative or positive-definite matrix. Estimates are obtained for the conditionality of the intermediate matrices of the Gauss, Jordan, and optimal elimination methods. The last method is a modification of Jordan elimination.

MODELING OF GAUSS ELIMINATION METHOD FOR LINEAR AND FRACTIONAL PROGRAMMING PROBLEM
This chapter deals with the solution of various programming problems viz. Linear Programming Problem (LPP), and Linear Fractional Programming Problem (LFPP) by Gauss elimination method. Gauss elimination method is an important method to solve linear equations in the field of Numerical Analysis.Sanjay Jain, Adarsh Mangal

The problem of solving a system of N linear equations Ax = b (where A is a known N x N matrix, and b and x are, respectively, the known and unknown N x 1 vectors) is frequently encountered in many fields of science and engineering. Efficient numerical methods for solving this problem on uniprocessor systems have been developed. The Gaussian elimination
