We present an efficient solver for massively-parallel direct numerical simulations of incompressible turbulent flows. The method uses a second-order, finite-volume pressure-correction scheme, where the pressure Poisson equation is solved with the method ...

The emphasis of the article is a potential usage of Jordan - Gauss successive elimination method for reduction of a differential equation system (DES) to one differential equation and determining its solution providing all other solutions of DES. This approach is different from standard method of determining of eigen vectors and eigen values of matrix ...

Robust C–V Ratio Technique for Profiling Defects in Proton‐Irradiated 4H‐SiC
A noise‐robust C–V ratio technique is introduced to profile radiation‐induced defects in proton‐irradiated 4H‐SiC Schottky diodes. By using analytical capacitance ratios instead of numerical differentiation, the method directly extracts trap‐density and effective trap‐energy profiles at room temperature.

Execute Elementary Row and Column Operations on the Partitioned Matrix to Compute M-P Inverse A†
We first study the complexity of the algorithm presented in Guo and Huang (2010). After that, a new explicit formula for computational of the Moore-Penrose inverse A† of a singular or rectangular matrix A.

Spectral analysis of variable-order multi-terms fractional differential equations
In this work, a numerical scheme based on shifted Jacobi polynomials (SJPs) is deduced for variable-order fractional differential equations (FDEs). We find numerical solution of consider problem of fractional order. The proposed numerical scheme is based

Abstract Time-domain electromagnetic method (TEM) is an electromagnetic prospecting method that has developed rapidly and widely used in recently years. The inversion of this method uses frequency domain electromagnetic method, so the key is how to transform electromagnetic signals from time domain to frequency domain.

Abstract Generating hydrogel beads pertains to many engineering applications. We examined two alginate‐based fluids at three concentrations of alginate, cAG$$ {c}_{\mathrm{AG}} $$. We used the “Map of Misery” to determine which material property (viscosity, elasticity, and inertia) drives droplet formation.
