Iterative Krylov Subspace Methods for Linear Port‐Hamiltonian Systems
ABSTRACT In this work, we present a structure‐preserving Krylov subspace iteration scheme for solving the equation systems that arise from the Gauss integration of linear energy‐conserving and dissipative differential systems (e.g., Poisson systems, gradient systems, and port‐Hamiltonian systems).

ABSTRACT In this work, we present an anisotropic multi‐goal error control based on the dual weighted residual (DWR) method for time‐dependent convection–diffusion–reaction (CDR) equations. Motivated by former work, we combine multiple goals to single error functionals with weights chosen as algorithmic parameters.

ABSTRACT Understanding the mechanisms through which anti‐cancer treatments influence survival is central to improving drug development and evaluation. In this work, we develop a Bayesian joint modeling framework for mediation analysis to quantify the extent to which tumor size dynamics mediate the effect of treatment on overall survival (OS). Our model

Ocean Wave Modulation of Offshore Wind Turbine Loads and Wake
ABSTRACT This study examines how wave‐induced modulation affects the operational performance and structural dynamics of fixed‐bottom offshore wind turbines operating under a neutral atmospheric boundary layer profile. To capture these effects accurately while maintaining computational efficiency, unsteady RANS modelling techniques are employed.

Thermal Escape of Atomic Hydrogen on Mars: A Comprehensive View With a General Circulation Model
Abstract Mars loses water mainly through the photodissociation of water vapor, followed by the thermal escape of light hydrogen atoms. Observations have revealed large seasonal variations in hydrogen concentration in the upper thermosphere, peaking during southern summers and intensifying during dust storms.

High Cycle Fatigue Properties of PM‐HIPed High‐Nitrogen Tool Steel: Effect of Surface Condition
ABSTRACT This study explores the impact of surface condition on high‐cycle fatigue performance of a high‐nitrogen martensitic tool steel manufactured through powder metallurgy and hot isostatic pressing. In near‐net manufacturing applications, acid‐leaching pickling treatment and/or machining is used as a post‐treatment to remove the powder container ...
