Indicators of Tambara–Yamagami categories and Gauss sums [PDF]
We prove that the higher Frobenius-Schur indicators, introduced by Ng and Schauenburg, give a strong enough invariant to distinguish between any two Tambara-Yamagami fusion categories.

Gauss Optics and Gauss Sum on an Optical Phenomena [PDF]
In the previous article (Found Phys. Lett. {\bf{16}} 325-341), we showed that a reciprocity of the Gauss sums is connected with the wave and particle complementary. In this article, we revise the previous investigation by considering a relation between the Gauss optics and the Gauss sum based upon the recent studies of the Weil representation for a ...

Intelligent Soft Opto‐Magnetic Robot for Minimally Invasive Interventional Therapy
An intelligent soft opto‐magnetic (iSOM) robot is developed that integrates remote magnetic actuation, skin‐mimic tactile perception, and photothermal ablation in a near‐millimeter‐scale design. It enables precise intraluminal navigation and localized ablation while providing real‐time optical feedback to support safe and accurate minimally invasive ...

For a number field \(k\) and a prime number \(p\), denote by \(k_\infty\) the cyclotomic \(\mathbb{Z}_p\)-extension of \(k\) with \(n\)-th layer \(k_n\), and by \(A_\infty\) the projective limit of the \(p\)-part of the ideal class group of \(k_n\) with respect to the relative norms.

Meter‐Scale Ultra‐Large‐Area Flexible Electroluminescent Devices Enabled by Aerosol Spraying
This work presents a simple aerosol spraying method using modified luminescent ink to fabricate meter‐scale flexible alternating current electroluminescent (ACEL) devices. Enhanced particle dispersibility and film uniformity yield impressive brightness up to 500 cd m−2, positioning these devices as effective luminous navigation signs for industrial ...

Robust C–V Ratio Technique for Profiling Defects in Proton‐Irradiated 4H‐SiC
A noise‐robust C–V ratio technique is introduced to profile radiation‐induced defects in proton‐irradiated 4H‐SiC Schottky diodes. By using analytical capacitance ratios instead of numerical differentiation, the method directly extracts trap‐density and effective trap‐energy profiles at room temperature.

On distribution properties of cubic residues
In this paper, we use the elementary methods, the properties of the Gauss sums and the estimate for character sums to study the calculating problems of a certain cubic residues modulo p, and give some interesting identities and asymptotic formulas for ...

Trump Tariffs 2.0: Assessing the Impacts on US Distilled Spirits Imports
ABSTRACT The proposed 25% tariff on Mexico and Canada could have significant repercussions on US imports of distilled spirits. This study estimates US import demand across various spirit categories (e.g., tequila, whiskey) and assesses the potential impact of the proposed tariff.
