New Mixed Exponential Sums and Their Application
The main purpose of this paper is to introduce a new mixed exponential sums and then use the analytic methods and the properties of Gauss sums to study the computational problems of the mean value involving these sums and give an interesting ...

Covalent Attachment of a Platinum(II) Complex inside DNA Duplexes
Oxidative addition is used for the site‐specific incorporation of an organometallic PtII complex as an artificial nucleobase into a DNA duplex. The platination stabilizes the duplex and confers it with phosphorescence. An organometallic phosphorescent PtII complex is introduced into DNA duplexes via oxidative addition to a tailor‐made artificial ...

The Hybrid Power Mean of Sixth Gauss Sums and the Two-Term Exponential Sums
The principal aim of this paper is to analyze the hybrid power mean value of sixth Gauss sums and two-term exponential sums. It will use various analytic methods and elementary methods to develop unique identities for these types of sums.

A pyrrolic‐nitrogen‐enriched ferromagnetic aerogel enables sophisticated cooperative regulation of hydrogen bonding, whereby this dual‐regulatory mechanism effectively reduces vaporization enthalpy while simultaneously enhancing molecular dynamics. The system demonstrates exceptional self‐cleaning capability and exhibits superior performance in the ...

The Weil representation and Gauss sums [PDF]
We use the Weil representation to evaluate certain Gauss sums over a local field, up to \(\pm 1\). Also we construct a cocycle on \(\text{Sp} (2m, \mathbb{R})\) with a simple formula on the maximal compact torus and we show how to lift homomorphisms \(j: \text{Sp} (2n, \mathbb{R})\to \text{Sp} (2m, \mathbb{R})\) to the double covers of these groups.

Copper(II), a Peculiar Metal Ion for Complexation with Monensin A Ionophore
Copper(II) forms three chiral and EPR‐active complexes with monensinate A in methanol. Beside the bis [CuL2] and mono [CuL]+ species, the new dinuclear construct [Cu2L]3+ exhibits an [ML]+‐type and a metal salt‐type copper(II) centers weakly bound to each other through counter ion(s) and thus, being magnetically independent.

The crystal structure of ammelide, also known as melanuric acid, was solved almost 200 years after its discovery by Liebig. Moreover, three modifications of its 1:1 adduct with ammeline were structurally elucidated, consisting of layers with a honeycomb motif analogous to melamine cyanurate.

For a multiplicative character \(\chi\) and a nontrivial additive character \(\lambda\) of the finite field with \(q\) elements (\(q\) is a power of an odd prime), the `Gauss' sums \(\sum\lambda(\text{tr }w)\) over \(w\in\text{SO}^-(2n,q)\) and \(\sum\chi(\text{det }w)\lambda(\text{tr} w)\) over \(w\in O^-(2n,q)\) are considered.

Abstract A streamlined characterization framework (WSPLK) is presented for modelling complex reservoir fluids using cubic equations of state. The key methodological contribution is the introduction of a single global parameter ε directly into Pedersen's boiling‐point correlation, restoring pure‐component calibration and eliminating the need for ...
