Self‐Assembled Fluorescent Nanodiamond Layers for Quantum Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
We developed a simple, scalable method for coating surfaces with fluorescent nanodiamonds. By optimizing the coating process, we created uniform, dense layers that enable high‐resolution magnetic imaging using the nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) center in nanodiamonds. This approach enables the development of cost‐effective quantum‐sensing and imaging substrates

The fourth power mean value of one kind two-term exponential sums

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2022
In this paper, based on the analytic method and the properties of Gauss sums, we study the computational problems of the fourth power mean value of one kind two-term exponential sums through the classification and estimation of Dirichlet characters and ...

Influence of Platinum Thin Films on the Photophysical and Quantum Properties of Near‐Surface NV Centers

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This work investigates the impact of platinum thin films on shallow nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) centers in diamond for quantum sensing applications. Five samples are analyzed with varying nitrogen implantation energies (2.5–60 keV) and changes in optical properties, charge state, and coherence times are reported.

A Note on the Classical Gauss Sums

open access: yesMathematics, 2018
The main purpose of this paper is to study the computational problem of one kind rational polynomials of the classical Gauss sums, and using the purely algebraic methods and the properties of the character sums mod p ( a prime with p ≡ 1 mod 12 ) to give

Hybrid mean value involving some two-term exponential sums and fourth Gauss sums

open access: yesElectronic Research Archive
Let $ q\ge3 $ be a positive integer. For any integers $ m $, $ n $, $ k $, $ h $, the two-term exponential sums $ C(m, n, k, h; q) $ is defined as $ C(m, n, k, h;q) = \sum\limits_{a = 1}^{q}e\left(\frac{ma^k+na^h}{q}\right) $, where $ k > h\ge 2 $.

Effect of Host Anisotropy on Phosphorescent Emitter Orientation and Light Outcoupling in OLEDs

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
The orientation of the emissive transition dipole moment of a cage‐type Iridium complex can be tuned by the anisotropic alignment of the cohost material, which is expressed as the S$S$ parameter of the film. Thus, the external quantum efficiency of OLEDs can be further enhanced to reach values above 30%.

A Hybrid Mean Value Involving Dedekind Sums and the General Exponential Sums

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
The main purpose of this paper is using the analytic method, A. Weil’s classical work for the upper bound estimate of the general exponential sums, and the properties of Gauss sums to study the hybrid mean value problem involving Dedekind sums and the ...

AI‐Driven Acceleration of Fluorescence Probe Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present PROBY, an AI model trained on large‐scale datasets to predict key photophysical properties and accelerate the discovery of target‐specific fluorescent probes. By screening a target‐annotated library, PROBY identifies candidate probes for diverse targets and could guide probe optimization, enabling a range of in vitro and in vivo imaging ...
