On the Dispersion of Gases Discharged to the Chimney of a Thermal Power Plant
This paper presents a theoretical study on the dispersion of gaseous pollutants from a natural gas thermal power plant in the event of a malfunction. Using the Gaussian model, the dispersion of nitrogen oxides generated by such a thermal power plant was ...

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Induction of diabetes in three different mouse strains uniformly resulted in an increase in TNAP activity and a reduction in pyrophosphate (PPi) in the circulation. Inhibition of TNAP restored plasma PPi. Diabetes‐induced calcification in the media layer of the aorta was detected only in the Abcc6−/− strain, which is predisposed to ectopic ...

Gaussian Pell and Gaussian Pell-Lucas quaternions
The main aim of this work is to introduce the Gaussian Pell quaternion QGpn and Gaussian Pell-Lucas quaternion QGqn, where the components of QGpn and QGqn are Pell numbers pn and Pell-Lucas numbers qn, respectively. Firstly, we obtain the recurrence relations and Binet formulas for QGpn and QGqn.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

The Gaussian Sequence 3th Order Mod m
The work addresses the study of third-order recurrent sequences for mod m cases. Thus, some definitions aim to transform infinite sequences into finite ones.

Variant-Coherence Gaussian Sources
The celebrated Gaussian Schell model source with its shift-invariant degree of coherence may be the basis for devising sources with space-variant properties in the spirit of structured coherence.

ABSTRACT Objective Cognitive impairment, fatigue, and depression are common in multiple sclerosis (MS), potentially due to disruption of regional functional connectivity caused by white matter (WM) lesions. We explored whether WM lesions functionally connected to specific brain regions contribute to these MS‐related manifestations.

Gaussian work extraction from random Gaussian states is nearly impossible
Quantum thermodynamics can be naturally phrased as a theory of quantum state transformation and energy exchange for small-scale quantum systems undergoing thermodynamical processes, thereby making the resource theoretical approach very well suited. A key
