Abstract figure There is positive covariation in the amplitudes of motor evoked potentials (MEPs) generated by (near simultaneous) stimulation of the two motor cortices. That is, larger responses to stimulation of the left motor cortex tend to be accompanied by larger responses to stimulation of the right motor cortex, and smaller responses to ...

Photoreceptor degeneration has heterogeneous effects on functional retinal ganglion cell types
Abstract figure legend Photoreceptor loss has heterogeneous effects on functional retinal ganglion cell (RGC) types. A, illustrations of cross‐sections of rd10 retinae at different time points during degeneration. Left: P30, rod degeneration has commenced, cones are still unaffected.

ABSTRACT Background Direct‐acting oral anticoagulants (DOACs) have largely replaced warfarin for stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation, yet their population‐level impact on health outcomes and costs remains unclear. We examined whether the widespread uptake of DOACs was associated with changes in hospitalization rates and costs for ...

Multiscale habitat analysis for the shoals spider lily: A species of conservation interest
We applied a multiscale analysis to determine what stream characteristics predicted shoals spider lily habitat in Stevens Creek, South Carolina. Shallow stream depth and coarse substrate were the most important predictors of spider lily presence at the microhabitat scale.

We investigated how climate and ecophysiology affect the demography of the lizard Tropidurus oreadicus in the Brazilian Cerrado. While lizards were more frequently captured in the dry season, their abundance peaked during the rainy season when their locomotor performance was highest.
