Rotational surfaces in isotropic spaces satisfying weingarten conditions
In this paper, we study the rotational surfaces in the isotropic 3-space đ3 satisfying Weingarten conditions in terms of the relative curvature K (analogue of the Gaussian curvature) and the isotropic mean curvature H.

Enhancing LowâTemperature Performance of SodiumâIon Batteries via AnionâSolvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a coâsolvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the deâsolvent process, and forming an anionârich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodiumâion batteries

This study demonstrates an alternative method of creating chargeâstable negatively charged nitrogen vacancy (NVâ) centers close to the diamond surface without highâtemperature annealing. By illuminating nitrogenâimplanted regions with a continuousâwave 405 nm laser, NVâ centers are induced, exhibiting electron spin coherence properties suitable for ...

The versatile precursorâassisted soft sphere close packing during slotâdie coating is investigated with in situ Xâray scattering. The soft crystallization pathways towards a close packing involve multistep structural transitions such as surface nucleation, inâplane, and outâofâplane crystallization.

The chemical composition and band alignment are systematically investigated at the TiO2/InP heterointerface. Thin TiO2 films are deposited by ALD on atomically ordered, Pâterminated pâInP(100). By combining UPS, XPS, and ab initio molecular dynamics, the atomistic structure and electronic alignment are revealed.

A design tool for globally developable discrete architectural surfaces using Ricci flow
This paper presents an approach for the design of discrete architectural surfaces that are globally developable; that is, having zero Gaussian curvature at every interior node.

[001]âoriented Sb2Se3 film with improved crystallinity and adjusted composition is achieved via a new thermal treatment approach consisting of preliminary annealing of the Sb layer before its selenization. The findings of this work demonstrate enhanced charge carriers' transportation, a stable performance, and an improvement of H2 generation from ...

Asymptotic behavior of flows by powers of the Gaussian curvature [PDF]
We consider a one-parameter family of strictly convex hypersurfaces in $\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ moving with speed $- K^\alpha \nu$, where $\nu$ denotes the outward-pointing unit normal vector and $\alpha \geq \frac{1}{n+2}$.
