Monotonicity properties and bounds involving the two-parameter generalized Grötzsch ring function
In the article, we present several new monotonicity properties and bounds involving the generalized Grötzsch ring functions μ a , b $\mu _{a,b}$ in the theory of Ramanujan’s generalized modular equation for 0 < a , b < 1 $0< a ...

ANOMALY IDENTIFICATION FROM SUPER-LOW FREQUENCY ELECTROMAGNETIC DATA FOR THE COALBED METHANE DETECTION [PDF]
Natural source Super Low Frequency(SLF) electromagnetic prospecting methods have become an increasingly promising way in the resource detection. The capacity estimation of the reservoirs is of great importance to evaluate their exploitation potency.

ABSTRACT Gene expression profiling (GEP) is being used with increasing frequency to characterise canine tumours, but canine samples are often not collected in a medium to preserve RNA. Cytology samples from human tumours have been shown to provide adequate RNA for GEP using NanoString nCounter technology, suggesting a similar approach might be viable ...

Let F ( a , b ; a + b ; x ) $F(a,b; a+b;x)$ be the Gaussian hypergeometric function and F p ( x ) = ( 1 − x ) p exp ( F ( a , b ; a + b ; x ) ) $F_{p}(x)=(1-x)^{p}\exp ({F(a,b;a+b;x)})$ .

Improving the Numerical Solution of the Energy Equation in Land Models
Abstract The purpose of this study is to improve simulations of the energy equation in land models. Our objectives are to (a) highlight the shortcomings of current approaches for solving the energy equation in land models; (b) present improved solutions; and (c) evaluate tradeoffs between numerical errors and strict energy conservation in the energy ...

Integrated multi‐omic profiling maps the gene‐regulatory landscape of the coelomic mesothelium across heart, lung, and pancreas. A cardiac‐restricted regulatory program is uncovered in which TBX20 activates heart mesothelial (epicardial) cis‐regulatory elements, while MAF emerges as a conserved regulator of mesothelial identity.

Sums of Pell/Lucas Polynomials and Fibonacci/Lucas Numbers
Seven infinite series involving two free variables and central binomial coefficients (in denominators) are explicitly evaluated in closed form. Several identities regarding Pell/Lucas polynomials and Fibonacci/Lucas numbers are presented as consequences.

Blood‐based proteomic signature of amyloidosis: identification of novel regulators of amyloid load
Abstract INTRODUCTION Cerebral amyloidosis is a defining feature of Alzheimer's disease (AD), yet the molecular heterogeneity among amyloidbeta‐positive (Aβ+) individuals remains poorly defined. We aimed to map the proteomic correlates of cerebral amyloidosis and link them to clinical variability within Aβ+ individuals.
